Founded in 1950, the Chester Beatty Library has been housed at Dublin Castle since 2000. The museum’s collection is based on the former private holdings of Alfred Chester Beatty, comprising manuscripts and books from the Near and Far East spanning the period from antiquity to the Middle Ages.

To make its rotating exhibitions of East Asian, Islamic, and European art more sustainable, the Chester Beatty Museum uses flexible exhibition walls from kub2: the wall components can be reconfigured in various ways and adapted to suit the specific requirements of each exhibition.
