In 2014 the KUNSTHAUS KAT18 opened its doors in a renovated former brewery listed for preservation. The KUNSTHAUS as part of the Gemeinnützige Werkstätten Köln (non-profit workshop in Cologne) is a working space for artists as well as their exhibition space. The kub2 walls are used as creative workspaces with built-in storage and for exhibits.
