In the 1970s, the MIT Historical Collections were founded to collect and preserve historical artifacts from the almonst centennial history of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Soon renamed MIT Museum, it started organizing exhibitions and educational programs based on its collections - addressing the MIT community and also society at large.
In early Octoberl 2022 the MIT Museum reopened in a new building in Kendall Square. To have the best options for flexible and sustainable rearrangements of the extended exhibition space, the museum chose kub2 exhibition walls. This project we realized together with our US partner stabaArte.
