In 2004 the state museum Berlinische Galerie opened its exhibition building, providing 4,600 square metres of exhibition space on two levels. By using adaptable kub2 walls for exhibitions the museum is able "to create the appropriate space for the presentation of particular collection inventory and temporary exhibitions" (Berlinische Galerie. The building).
